This image shows how the animators of Peter Pan quickly sketched out Captain hook and how he would look in the movie. With these sketches not the whole body is drawn all the time, they sometimes just focus on his facial expressions. When figuring out certain facial expressions this image portrays how you can just focus on the small details rather then drawing out the whole body.
This sketch shows the development of Stitches character from the initial shapes of his body to the detailed drawing of him.
This sketch only included the final character sketches, there aren’t any experimental sketches of what the character could look like. These sketches would be near the end of the sketchbook when the characters appearance is settled and the artist begins to experiment with facial expressions.
This sketch would be one which takes over a whole page. Once the artist begins storyboarding some of their ideas they may need to draw some characters/ scenes bigger than the rest. Throughout my sketch book I will most probably include full page sketches when I need to look at the scale of certain characters and objects.
