To display our understanding of the different camera angles Laura Reeves and I created a short video discussing each angle and a few bits of equipment which should all become familiar with.
Please excuse my awful acting during this video! In today’s lesson we were asked to remake a scene from the TV Show ‘House of Cards’. I’ve personally never seen it- someone told me it was good so I was planing on checking it out but from watching a short clip it looks like its about politics (Correct me if i’m wrong), but if it is actually about politics then I’m going to stick to The Walking Dead thanks. Anyway, we were asked to recreate a certain scene focusing on the camera angles and movements along with our location and floor plan. Our teacher firstly said that he’s been putting off doing this task because everyone focuses on the wrong things like props and acting so the whole thing takes forever to do and it’s really quite a simple task. So when it was finally time to do this THE PRESSURE WAS ON! But our teacher claimed ours was pretty good… not sure if he enjoyed the acting though!
