Unit 44 – Music Based Show

During class we discussed many different music genres, such as, pop, soul, reggae, punk, rock, jazz, dubstep, and many more. There are so many different genres to suit what everyone likes, as different ages will like different music genres. For example, a 50+ year old male would probably listen to classical music or jazz where as a 12 year old female would prefer pop.

I am working with Laura to create two radio shows which play a consistent genre throughout. Our first genre/ theme is pop music from the year 2000, so old music which a teenage audience would listen to and keep reminiscing. We will be airing from  3 until 4 as this would be when teenagers would be returning home from school. The name of our show would also be called Noughties but nice.

Playlist:

  1. Fountains of Wayne- Stacy’s mom
